Our Practitioners
Valerie Ohanian, RSHomVal has studied and practiced homeopathy for over 25 years and taught and lectured on the subject nationally and internationally for 15 years.
Val is one of the leaders in the development of contemporary classical homeopathy in the United States. She has served on the boards of numerous homeopathic organizations, and along with Eric Sommermann, co-founded the North American Society of Homeopaths, The International Council of Classical Homeopathy, the Northwestern Academy of Homeopathy and the Minnesota Homeopathic Association.
The thing that excites her about homeopathy is seeing people heal deeply and develop vital, happy selves and lives. She specializes in working with individuals with complex physical and mental/emotional health issues.
Her training included the Post Graduate program of International Foundation of Homeopathy, The Hahnemann College of Homeopathy post graduate diploma program and graduate studies at University of Minnesota. *Please note that Val is not accepting new clients at this time.
Debra Sax Annes, RSHomWith a degree in psychology and education, several years' work as an elementary school teacher and a decade of homeopathic training and practice, Debra offers an unusual combination of caring, experience, and diverse skills to patients of all ages and backgrounds.
She has been practicing at HPL since 1998, paying special attention to women's concerns, including depression and menopause, and the problems of children and adolescents, such as autism, attention deficit disorder, and behavioral challenges.
Debra is a graduate of the Northwestern Academy of Homeopathy in the Twin Cities and recently completed a master's clinical program at the Luminos School of Homeopathy in Vancouver, B.C. She is certified by the councils for Homeopathic Certification, and a member of the North American Society of Homeopaths. In addition, Debra is also an adjunct faculty at the University of Minnesota's Center for Spirituality and Healing and is an Instructor at the Northwestern Academy of Homeopathy.
